Slow Agitators

The agitators of the VFR, VFV, VFT VTRR series are part of our slow agitators. These models are always fitted with a reducer gear, or even a pre-reducer, to work at low speeds, ranging between 3 and 50 rpm. The used motors are of low power and transmit a high torque. In those mixers, the diameter of the mobile is normally larger than in other models. In this type of agitators it is quite usual to use variable frequency drives to adjust the output speed.

Such equipment is commonly used in processes of flocculation, anoxic and anaerobic cameras, thickeners, sludge digesters and scrapers for high viscosity fluids.
