Recent supply of agitators for mixing tanks of chemical reagents required during the desalination process of seawater by reverse osmosis.
In reverse osmosis processes, it is essential to carry out periodic cleaning of the membranes and pre-treatment of the water collected from the sea, since if it is not carried out, a notable loss of productivity of the plant is caused. For this purpose, desalination plants must provide reagent dosing tanks.
FluidMix, through an important multinational company with a large presence in the Middle East, has supplied 2 VTG4 agitators for sodium bisulfite tanks, 2 VTG4 agitators for polyelectrolyte preparation tanks and one VPS3 agitator for CIP tank (for mixing of reagents commonly used in Cleaning In Place processes such as citric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium bisulphite, sodium hydroxide, …).
The agitators have been manufactured according to the demanding specifications of the end customer, having passed all the internal and external quality controls: measurement of motor currents, noise and vibration control, measurement of rotation speed at the outlet of the reducer, control of paint thickness and adherence test, pickling and passivation of all stainless steel material, maritime packaging, protection of all stainless steel parts by wrapping film, identification of all parts and packages according to requirements.
